The view from the room was spectacular! Perfect location to explore Wilderness. The family who run the property gave great tips on local restaurants and activities.

Everything was above and beyond what we expected. The rooms were neat and tidy. The bed was incredibly comfortable and spacious. We had a spectacular view of the beach from our balcony. All of the finishes were luxurious and upmarket. The staff were all so friendly and professional in every regard. We were treated to a delicious breakfast every morning. The lodge itself is conveniently located and is within walking distance from every restaurant in and around Wilderness Our hosts Melissa and Chris were so welcoming and we had such an amazing time getting to know them. They are truly exceptional people. We could not have asked for a better way to see the end of 2022 and begin the new year. 10/10

Really awesome experience.  The room was stunning overlooking both the ocean and the wilderness lake with everything we needed to make our stay extra comfy. The owners are very pleasant and were fully committed to make our stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. They are also knowledgeable of available amenities in the area and more than willing to make any arrangements and bookings on our behalf. Great breakfast offered in house as well. We were able to safely walk to most of what Wilderness has to offer with a little bit of challenge to our fitness with all the hilly terrain. Looking forward to returning.

Unique accommodation high among trees. Very friendly, involved and personally interested staff, every question we had was answered very quickly and personally. The property was nice and clean, nice view over Wilderness. Also within walking distance from the village with good restaurants.

The lodges on the slope are just fantastically beautiful. Being separated units gives you a lot of privacy. The owner was very friendly and allowed us to check in later. The welcome was very cordial and we got many tips for hikes and restaurants in Wilderness. Unfortunately, due to the mist, we could only hear the sea, the visibility only went to the next tree in the evening, but on clear days the view must be fantastic! The lodges themselves are very modern, spacious, you have a fridge and a kettle, as well as tea and coffee making facilities. The breakfast was delicious and you have a view of the sea from the cafe.

The room / apartment was beautiful. We were only there one night but we wish we had stayed longer, there was an amazing BBQ area and balcony that we were not able to make use of. The cot bed was also perfect for our baby. The view and location was also spectacular. The hosts were lovely and went out of their way to help us and make us feel at home.

Melissa and her husband are great hosts, the lodge is so nicely located with a great view and we had the best nights sleep in their bed.

Great breakfast, healthy and good value. Chef Hendrick was truly at our service to provide the best breakfast.
